Prince William was not amused by his brother Prince Harry’s jovial display and public attempts to rebuild their relationship during an unveiling of a statue dedicated to Princess Diana. It was a clear sign that William is unwilling to play public relations games for the benefit of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s public personas.

The unveiling of a statue dedicated to your dead mother should be a somber and contemplative time, but Prince Harry didn’t express much of that last week with his brother and other family members. The royal, who currently resides in California, seemingly took on the role of court jester by giving the awaiting press wide smiles and attempting to joke around with his brother and the other guests.

Most of them weren’t biting.

It seems like this display was a poor attempt by Prince Harry to pull his brother and future king, Prince William, into publicly repairing their relationship.

The elder brother was not amused by this game and didn’t engage, making Harry look even more the fool.

A body expert picked up on this strained and tense relationship, explaining to Us Weekly, “Harry was looking more at William than vice versa.

“And you could tell also because there were times that Harry would actually walk over to where his brother and somebody else was talking.”

There was also a moment where Prince Harry seemingly was trying to get Prince William to engage in a hug. But once again, William rebuffed his brother’s obvious and clearly staged actions.

The self-proclaimed Hollywood producer also apparently spent zero time with his family, instead showing up to simply provide the world with photo ops at a WellChild event and the unveiling.

Natalie Oliveri, royal correspondent, said: “Harry was in the UK for less than a week.

“He only spent two days outside of isolation and he flew back to California on Friday.

“The Diana statue unveiling was on the Thursday.

“He really didn’t have time with his family and didn’t have time to mend any of those rifts that have occurred with his brother.

“There are also reports that Harry was going to have tea with his grandmother, the Queen at Windsor Castle but we don’t know whether that did happen.”

Most likely, the rest of the royal family played some role in making sure that Prince Harry was as far away from the Queen and the institution as possible. After leaving the royal family, Harry and his wife have seemingly done everything that they could to disparage and damage his family, the monarchy and the United Kingdom.

It seems ridiculous that Harry would be expecting his brother, and by extension the public, to embrace him with open arms and put on a false display.

Clearly, Harry has drunk the Meghan fueled Kool-Aid of over-the-top c-list level PR efforts, but the royal family isn’t interested in engaging the two any longer, unless it is to address more false stories. 

Prince William, while cordial to his brother, wasn’t interested in falsely telling the public that their relationship is mended when it isn’t. As a result, Prince William looked regal and royal, and Harry looked like a buffoon he has revealed himself to be over this last year.
