The Cambridges Father’s Day Treat – Prince George and Princess Charlotte Join Father Prince William at Royal Event

The youngest British royals are beginning to learn some of the ropes, with Prince George and Princess Charlotte joining their father Prince William at a half-marathon race near the Sandringham Estate.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s children showed off their recent growth spurts, with royal watchers commentating on how the two young royals are continuing to grow and may become as tall as their parents.

Per The Daily Express, “The ‘Run Sandringham’ race is organized by Good Running Events and welcomes competitors of all abilities and ages to run a half marathon, 5K or a community mile for charity.”

In a lovely and sweet moment, the Duke allowed George and Charlotte to count down the race. Though shy, the children did wave enthusiastically to the competitors.

Additionally, the Cambridge family also shared a new picture of the Duke with his children at the Trooping of the Colors in 2019, though the resolution is not great.

What struck many is the picture of both Princess Charlotte and especially Prince George clinging to their father’s legs.

It’s clear, that despite Harry and Meghan, William, Catherine and their children are thriving and close with both of their parents. The relationship is incredibly sweet to see and bodes well for the future of the British monarchy.
