There are rumblings that former royal Meghan Markle has higher aims than Buckingham Palace, the Oval Office. The American has apparently made it known to friends that she is interested in assuming the office of the presidency of the United States. Her first step, reportedly, was to assume the California Senate seat vacated by Kamala Harris, who became vice president in January 2021.  Unfortunately, that hasn’t happened.
